As the official information provider of the European Union (EU), the Center for Information on European Institutions (CIIE) is committed to providing the public with up-to-date information on EU matters, including EU policy and programs run by the EU. With this as its goal, CIIE makes available to the public numerous information leaflets, brochures and displays, organizes activities in schools, holds talks and discussions, and develops teaching resources. Due to its location, the CIIE also provides information on the European Institutions based in Strasbourg.
