Eurocollege

School Activites for 12 to 15 year olds

Guide EurocollègeAs part of its goal to make the education on Europe easier and more accessible for young people, CIIE offers to bring Eurocollege to your classroom or you can bring you class to the CIIE building. This animation, created specially for CIIE by dedicated, trained volunteers, has already been used in more than 130 colleges in Alsace since 2004.

During the presentation, the speaker will discuss, in an interactive way, the symbols, history and functioning of the enlarging Union as well as the capitals, traditions and characteristics of the 27 member states. In the second part of Eurocollege, the students are grouped into three teams to discover the 27 countries of the European Union through a set of questions and answers based on the main points discussed during the first part of the activity.

The best group is awarded the Eurocollege diploma and hand outs on Europe (maps, brochures…) are given to all participants.
