Euroquiz

School Activites for students 16 to 18 years old

Euroquiz

The Euroquiz was created by CIIE for high school classes, youth groups visiting Alsace….and is a fictional journey through the European Union during which participants will learn about the symbols, history and geography of the enlarging Union as well as the institutions, capitals, traditions and characteristics of the 27 member states of the European Union.

The Euroquiz consists of 2 parts. The first part is a small interactive conference on European integration, European institutions and the current news of Europe. It is followed by an animation and a game.

The students are divided into 3 teams with participants answering questions on European integration, the future of Europe, its institutions, Europe daily and member states on questionnaires distributed to each of them. The winning group will receive a Euroquiz diploma and all participants will receive hand outs (brochures, maps of Europe…).
