How many Member State are there? What is the history of the EU? What are the symbols? The achievements? The future? Why do new countries want to join?

For all of these questions and more, the Information Center for European Institutions (CIIE) offers concrete and clear answers available in a language that is easy for children to understand thanks to the animation called Europassenger

As part of its goal to make the education on Europe easier and more accessible for young people, CIIE offers to bring Eurovoyageur to your classroom or you can bring you class to the CIIE building. This animation, created specially for CIIE by dedicated, trained volunteers, has already been used more than 1,500 times in Alsatian schools since 1998. In this animation, the speaker discusses, in an interactive way, the symbols, history and geography of the Union as well as the flag, capitals, traditions and characteristics of the 27 member states.

In the second part of the Eurovoyageur program, the children are grouped in four teams to discover the 27 countries of the European Union through a set of questions and answers. The best group wins a diploma and hand outs on Eurovoyageur Europe (map…) are given to all participants. In addition, the Eurovoyageur map used during the program is given to a student who participated in the program.
