Who are we?

Lieu d'EuropeThe "Centre d'Information sur les Institutions Européennes (CIIE)" is a non-profit association founded in 1995 by the Urban Community of Strasbourg, the "Conseil Général du Bas-Rhin" and the Alsace Regional Council, with support from the European Commission and the Ministry of French Foreign Affairs.

Bringing Europe closer to its citizens:

As the official distributor of European Union information, the CIIE’s mission is to inform the general public about the European Union, its programs, and its policies through brochures and exhibitions. The CIIE hosts school activities, conferences, and debates and also creates educational materials. From its location in central Strasbourg, CIIE also provides information on all the European Institutions in Strasbourg.
